Is Your Weight Holding You Back?

Memorial Day Weekend of 2021 was my moment. My husband and I went on a hike with some friends and even though I thought I could handle it, clearly not. 15 minutes into the upward descent of the hike my legs started feeling weak. I couldn’t get enough air, felt extremely dizzy, and got to the point where blackness was closing in. Everyone had to stop and wait for me to recover before I could even attempt to hike another short distance just to have the symptoms return.
I had never felt so ashamed in all my life. How could I let myself get to this point where I couldn’t even handle a fairly easy hike? Talk about a wake-up call.
What can’t YOU do anymore? What did you say you always wanted in your future that feels completely out of reach for you now?
Yes, we can be overweight and live a happy life. But can we be overweight and have the energy and endurance to do everything we love? Probably not.
If you are 30 or more pounds overweight, having blood sugar issues, and/or high blood pressure then this is for you. You don’t have to do extreme diets to lose weight. You need a structured program to teach you about nutrition and provide you the tools and resources to manage your poor habits and create new helpful ones.
I endured 3 more miserable years before I finally reached out for help. That help has made all the difference! A health coach can teach you science-backed principles of weight loss, help you create achievable goals, and support you through the ups and downs of your wellness and weight loss journey.
Now 4 years later, I'm 40 pounds lighter and loving hikes again. I want to support anyone who needs help getting their life back.
